How does it work?
The Epil Evo diode laser works with a wavelength of 808 nm. This special wavelength allows the laser beam emitted by Epil Evo not to disperse in the epidermis, but to selectively reach only the hair melanin present in the hair follicle. The transmitted energy triggers a process called selective photothermolysis, which causes a rise in temperature such as to cause the thermal destruction of the hair bulb and its appurtenances. This process prevents hair regrowth.

The treatment
The treatment with Epil Evo is fast and painless, suitable for all phototypes and applicable both on the face and on the body. It is possible to carry out the treatment in any season of the year, even on tanned skin. Diode laser treatment is most effective during the active phase of the hair regrowth cycle, called the Anagen phase. To obtain permanent results over time, 6 to 8 sessions are sufficient, depending on the type of hair.

The operator can choose the professional, quick and guided mode. With the professional mode, the operator chooses to deliver individual pulses, setting the number, while with the quick mode it is possible to carry out the treatment in continuous mode, by sliding the handpiece on the customer’s skin. The guided mode, on the other hand, requires you to enter customer parameters to set the most suitable protocol.
